About Dearlume

We redrew the wall and brought it to the table.

Dearlume makes everyday table pieces — trivets, coasters, trays, tea towels and napkins — in twelve original azulejo-style patterns. Cobalt blue on glaze white, with a little ochre, like late sun on an old street.

Twelve patterns of our own

Portugal’s tile walls are full of rosettes, waves, birds, fruit and stars. We did not copy any of them. Each Dearlume pattern is a new drawing — Ribeira, Maré, Andorinha and nine more — made to repeat, to join at the corners and to sit well next to the others.

Every pattern has a number, Nº 01 to Nº 12, the way tiles are catalogued. Pick by number or by name; the whole range carries the same twelve.

Made to be used, every day

A trivet is the most honest way to own a tile: it lives on the table, under the teapot and the Sunday casserole. Coasters come in fours, trays carry the coffee out to the balcony, and the tea towels and napkins bring the pattern into the kitchen drawer.

Each product page lists the size, material and care so you know exactly what you are getting.

03

Made to match

Because every category shares the same patterns, a trivet, four coasters and a tea towel in Laranjeira will always belong together — or mix three patterns and let the table look like a wall that was patched over a hundred years.
