Legal guarantee

Every Dearlume product is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Portuguese law (Decree-Law 84/2021, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771).

What the legal guarantee covers

• 3 years from delivery: the goods must match their description, be fit for their normal use and have the quality you can reasonably expect.
• If a lack of conformity appears within the first 2 years, it is presumed to have existed at delivery — you do not have to prove it.
• The guarantee is free of charge. You do not need to register anything.

What you can ask for

1. Repair or replacement, free of charge and within a reasonable time (normally no more than 30 days).
2. If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, not done in time, or the defect is serious: a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a full refund.

For ceramic tiles and printed textiles a replacement is usually the quickest solution.

What is not a lack of conformity

Normal wear, damage from accidents, misuse or not following the care instructions on the product page (for example a dishwasher, an oven or a heat shock) are not covered. Small variations in glaze, print and colour between pieces are part of the product and are described on each product page.

How to claim

Email support@dearlume.shop with your order number, a short description and a photo. We reply within two business days and arrange the solution, including any return postage, at our cost.
