Questions
FAQ
Short answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else: support@dearlume.shop.
Where do you ship from, and where to?
Every order is packed and sent from Portugal. We deliver to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States and Canada. Costs and times are on Shipping & returns.
Can I pay in my own currency?
Yes. Choose EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, NOK, CHF, CAD or USD from the language and currency menu at the top of the page. The amount in the cart and at checkout is what you pay, in that currency.
Will I pay customs or import tax?
Not within the EU — our prices include VAT. For the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the US and Canada, your country may charge import duties or taxes on delivery; these are paid by the recipient.
Are the patterns copied from real buildings?
No. All twelve patterns are original drawings made for Dearlume, in the spirit of Portuguese blue-and-white tiles. They are not copies of any building or museum piece.
Do the patterns match across products?
Yes. The trivets, coasters, trays, tea towels and napkins share the same twelve patterns, numbered Nº 01 to Nº 12. Choose a pattern on the home page or in the shop to see everything that carries it. Small variations in glaze, print and colour between pieces are normal.
How do I care for the pieces?
Trivets, coasters and trays: wipe with a damp cloth and dry; no dishwasher, oven or microwave; do not soak. Tea towels and napkins: machine wash at 40 °C, separately the first time. Each product page has the details.
Can I serve food directly on the trays?
The trays are made for carrying cups, glasses, bottles and bowls. Please put unwrapped food on a plate or in a bowl.
I changed my mind. Can I return my order?
Yes, within 14 days of delivery and without giving a reason. See Right of withdrawal.
Something arrived broken.
We are sorry. Email a photo and your order number and we will send a replacement or refund at our cost. See Legal guarantee.
Do I need an account to order?
No. You can check out as a guest, or create an account to see your orders later.
